A tailor-made power supply

High precision analog control loop power supplies for inductive loads such as electromagnets, superconducting coils, Helmholtz coils and others.
Autonomous analog power supplies with digital controls, readouts and supervision. The interfaces are digital and analog.

  • Monopolar or bipolar 4 Quadrants regulated in current or magnetic field.
  • Analog control for very low noise and high stability.
  • Stability class 100 ppm, 10 ppm or 1 ppm.
  • Output current : 0 A to 500 A.
  • Output power: 1 W to 100 kW.
  • Output voltage : 0 V to 1000 V.
  • External analog control or by dual internal 20-bit DAC (100% and 1%).
  • Very low noise 24-bit digital reading.
  • Reading resolution: 10µA.
  • Digital current setpoint: 1mA.
  • Absolute accuracy: 2ppm.
  • SCPI controls via digital interface RS232, Ethernet, MODBUS available.
  • Analog interfaces (Read ±10V, Output ±10V, Status, Interlocks and Analog powering).
 
 

Accuracy and Reliability

CAYLAR power supplies are mainly designed to provide a very high stability current to magnetic systems such as electromagnets, superconducting magnets, Helmoltz coils, calibrated according to the load and the desired characteristics.

Our power supplies have been dedicated to the scientific world for over 40 years and offer superior performance for fundamental research activities.
The stability class are given for a period of 8 hours.

CAYLAR current sources are compatible with an analog or digital NMR control loop for absolute field regulation.
