Calibration and services
All CAYLAR, DRUSCH and BOUHNIK products are supported: RMN and HALL gaussmeters (testers), current sources.
CAYLAR maintains a database of all its instruments including the history of interventions, calibrations, repairs, upgrades... This database guarantees product traceability.
Our stock of components guarantees the durability of all CAYLAR, DRUSCH and BOUHNIK products for at least twenty years. Obsolescence is taken into account and replacements are qualified.
CAYLAR ensures the maintenance of DRUSCH and BOUHNIK products dating from the 60's. (A durability of at least 20 years is ensured on all new productions.)
Calibration
The procedure starts as soon as the equipment arrives in our laboratory and consists of three steps
- inspections ;
- inspection report and proposal of interventions if necessary
- authorization to proceed;
- start of interventions.

Income Inspection
Gaussmeter, preamplifier, probes, cables are checked. A visual and functional inspection step by step.
- External inspection (shocks, buttons, connectors...).
- Functional inspection (performance test...).
- Internal inspection (visual, power supply measurements...).
If non-conformities are revealed by the input inspection, recommendations are given with associated prices.
Authorization to proceed
CAYLAR sends an inspection report with photos, technical notes and measurements. A technical and commercial proposal is written :
- repairs (if needed) ;
- recommendations for upgrading ;
- calibrations and verifications.
The Authorization To Proceed must be given before intervening.
Commitment of work
Time commitment:
- entry inspection: 3 days ;
- calibrations and verifications: 1 week;
- repairs: 1 week;
- update: 2 weeks.
A calibration certificate and a measurement report are delivered.

Procedure for temporary export from a country outside the European Community to CAYLAR (France).
It is very important to follow these recommendations in order to make an export without delays or additional costs.
It is necessary to make a shipment respecting the customs rules of temporary export to avoid additional taxes.
We recommend that you ask your broker to transfer this document to him. Your Broker will accompany you in the steps to follow, prepare the documents for customs and organize the transport.

Required documents
Your Broker will need a proforma invoice to define the contents of the package and its value:
- the value of the total and sub-assemblies;
- the serial number of each sub-assembly;
- the HS code of each sub-assembly (HS code of a NMR Gaussmeter and associated materials: 9030310090);
- indicate the reason for the shipment: repair and specify if the equipment is under warranty.
